When are event finals?

Saturday, February 22nd 

Athlete Check In - 6:05 p.m. 

March In - 6:50 p.m.

What Levels can qualify? 

DP Levels 7 - 10

How do you qualify for finals?

The top six individual event scores from regular competition on each event regardless of age group will be invited to compete in finals. In levels where there are two sessions per level the top 3 will come from each session for a total of 6 athletes. 

When will I be told if I qualify for event finals?

All levels will be notified immediately after their session ends.

When must I commit to competing?

At the end of your awards session.

Will there be alternates?

We will notify two alternates per event per level. Alternates are invited to march out and sit with the competing athletes. 

What do athletes wear for finals?

All Optional gymnasts are gifted a commemorative Great West GymFest leotard. Please wear this leotard for the BIG SHOW competition. 

Are finals sanctioned?

No! This is a high energy, college-style scoring event!

Are there awards?

Yes!! All competitors will receive a BIG SHOW medal for their Finals placement.

Should I fill out an Athlete Bio?

Yes!! ALL Level 7 - 10 athletes should fill out an Athlete Bio to be prepared for BIG SHOW Finals. Bio forms are available here! And on the Great West GymFest website linked above! www.gwgfmeet.com
